Free access and Auto Sign-up announced

Published February 7, 2013

Today we announced new access options that will allow many travel sites to integrate our travel search engine without charge. The Basic Access option allows up to 100,000 search requests per month, and is available to partners using either the API or White Label integrations.

Our goal is to push the broadest possible adoption of multi-modal search. We’re hoping to help travel sites transition away from first-generation search, where only flight results are returned, over to second-generation search, where flight, rail and other transport options are all displayed. Any site that’s serious about selling travel in Europe and Asia has to offer multi-modal search sooner or later, and we’re looking to make the transition as easy as possible.

New partners can sign-up in less than a minute.

We’ve also introduced an automated sign-up facility, which addresses the administrative burden associated with managing new partners. Interest in the platform has been high since the new year, with enquiries running at two to three per day. With the free access announcement we expect sign-ups to increase significantly, so availability of an auto sign-up was brought forward to be concurrent with today’s release.

We also announced details of our Commercial Access option. This option will appeal to sites and apps with higher volumes and needing the certainty of an SLA and 24/7 support for their integration. Check out the site for more details of both options.
